Aamir Khan’s production ‘Peepli [Live] fails to get nomination for the Oscars Awards under the Best Foreign Language Film. The film has been left out of the nine films selected by the Academy. The 83rd Academy Awards will be held on February 27, 2011(Sunday), at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

After leaving behind 27 films including Raajneeti and Udaan, Peepli Live was selected for the Oscars as the one Indian film to represent India in the international entertainment world. Unfortunately, it lost out at the final nine nominations for the award
