Dear Sir,

Sub: Information about best practices in colleges - Regarding.

I understand that many of the colleges have got unique/best practices
within their campuses on different activities. For example, one of the colleges
ensures that none of its students or staff wastes food which is an excellent
practice for anybody to emulate. Some colleges are also practising innovative
energy saving methods.
Similar to this, all other colleges may have their own best practices.
Hence, all the Principals are requested to inform the University about such
practices existing in their colleges so that the same can be informed to other
colleges for adoption.
To start with, I would like to request all the Principals of Engineering
colleges to impart it as a practice to their students as well as staff that they do
not waste food items within and outside the campuses.
The selected best practices will also be published in the University
website with due acknowledgement to the Colleges.
